Truck drivers told to avoid public interactions in Wayanad

Truck drivers returning to Wayanad from other states have been asked by the District Administration to avoid public interactions. This was after a truck driver returning from Chennai tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday (02/05). The administration is planning to screen truck drivers at Muthanga border check post and ask them to proceed to their homes while getting local drivers to deliver the goods to their final destination.
