Bengal govt suggests truckers to unload cargo at no mans land to bypass quarantine norms

Over 2100 trucks headed towards Bangladesh are stuck around Petrapole since lockdown started. A 14 day quarantine is mandatory on returning from another country. West Bengal government said that it can permit essential commodities but drop has to be done at no man’s land instead of the usual Benapole. Truckers are advised to wait for more clarity on the arrangements from officials.
